If you have a business, no doubt you want your clients or customers to be able to contact you whenever the need arises.
Or if you’re collecting information to work on a project, say for example, setting up a new website, you want a form that will let you to gather everything you need at once. Rather than receiving it in different emails.
When picking a form builder plugin, you want to make sure you get extra bells and whistles for all your business website’s needs. Not just the ability to create a contact form.
And if you happen to set up websites for clients, you also want to make sure the plugin is user-friendly and easy to pick up on – especially for beginners.
But choosing a form builder plugin can be a tough decision…

WPForms Vs TypeForm
It’s no secret that I’m a fan of WPForms. But I also know that there are other form builders available.
So today I thought I would do a post to compare WPForms versus another popular plugin, Typeform. I’m hoping this will help you decide which one would be the best option for you.
Let’s take a look at the features for each plugin.
TypeForm Features

TypeForm is a web-based platform you can use to create contact forms, surveys, quizzes, polls and other forms for your website. They have a collection of pre-designed templates you can use to save time.
With the Basic plan you get 10 questions and 100 responses per typeform, reports, notifications recall info and integrations with Google Sheets, HubSpot and Zapier.
When you upgrade to the Pro plan, you get all the freebies. Plus other features and add-ons like unlimited questions, advanced question types and logical jump. You also get a custom thank you screen, payment integrations, Mailchimp integration, a calculator assign values for a score or price and option to hide fields.
WPForm Features

What makes WPForms* a popular form builder plugin is its easy-to-use drag and drop builder. Seriously, you can easily create a contact form in less than 5 minutes.
You can also create surveys, polls and conversational forms to really connect with your audience.
With the free Basic plan you get a slew of features. There is unlimited forms and entries, advanced fields, multi-page forms, conditional logic, spam protection and Constant Contact integration.
And when you upgrade to their Pro plan, you get even more features and add-ons you don’t get on TypeForm such custom Captchas, signature add-on, user registration and a form abandonment add-on that lets you capture partial entries on your forms.
You also get campaign monitor forms, Drip forms, integration with PayPal and Stripe and my favorite feature, file upload. What’s more is, you can use the license for up to 20 sites!
Now let’s compare the price.
TypeForm Price Plans

TypeForm has 3 different price plans – Free, Pro and Pro+. The Pro plan is $350 a year and the Pro+ will cost you $700 a year.
WPForms Price Plan

Now WPForms has 4 different price plans to choose from – 5 if you count the free version. There’s the Basic plan, Plus, Pro, and Elite.
The Basic plan starts at only $39.50 a per year and their Plus plan is priced at only $99.50 per year.
The most popular plan is their Pro plan and you can enjoy all the features I mentioned for only $199.50 a year. For developers and agencies, the Elite plan is the perfect solution and is priced at $299.50 per year.
Clearly WPForms is your best option if you’re on a tight budget. Now let’s compare their support.
Support Comparison
You want that peace of mind knowing you can contact support at any given time to help you with any issues that might come up while creating forms.
Here’s a comparison of the support you get from TypeForm and WPForms.
TypeForm has a help center that includes documentation to assist you with creating forms, configuration, to help you add team members, and for reporting. They also have a blog that offers helpful tips and tricks.
If you still need support, you can contact their support team. The only problem with that is they only provide support during business hours from Monday through Friday. So night owls and weekend warriors will have to wait until the next business day to get a reply from them.
WPForms
WPForms also has a documentation section with tutorials from getting started to account management.
And you can submit a support ticket and expect a reply within 24 hours. For a night owl and weekend warrior like myself, I like knowing I don’t have to wait for a response!
There are also blog posts that share tips and tricks. And they include screenshots and video tutorials making it easier to follow along with.
Wrapping It Up
So if you’re looking for an affordable, easy-to-use form builder that will give you all the features you need for your business website, WPForms is your best bet.
I hope you found this article helpful in your search for the perfect form builder.
Happy building!
Hi Cori,
Useful review here. I have been using WPform for the longest and I’m good with it. Nevertheless, Typeform is new to me, but the best way to pick the best tool is to run them accordingly. Besides, your article made clear the best of the two. With Typeform going into the hundreds of dollars per year, that’s way up the pack for me.
