How to Create Social Media Content That Drives Engagement

Creating social media posts that will boost engagement is a lot harder than it looks.

You have to find the right topic, pick the perfect image that coincides with the topics and write the perfect copy. Before you know it about 45 minutes (maybe longer) has passed.

Now, imagine if you had to create a post for the handful of social media platforms you’re on. You’d spend half a day on this task alone.

We all want to create the ‘perfect’ social media post that will boost engagement with your audience.

And if you’re a solopreneur like a Virtual Assistant – you know that time is everything. You can’t spend half a day on social media posts – there are other tasks to tackle.

PromoRepublic To Boost Engagement and Grow Your Business on Social Media

I first learned about PromoRepublic when the free version was integrated into the Hootsuite dashboard and it quickly became one of my favorite social media marketing tools. I loved it so much that I upgraded to the pro plan.  And let me tell yah – it’s one of the best investments I’ve made for my business!

And if you’re trying to boost your engagement on social media, you have to check out this tool! By the way, it also integrates with Buffer and it will automatically schedule suggested content for you.

PromoRepublic has created a library of contextual post suggestions that are aimed to connect with your social media fans and followers on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.

It’s got everything you need – suggested content with images, an editor to create your own posts, and a calendar. And if we were able to reply to social comments from their dashboard this would be the perfect all-in-one tool!

Now let me tell you about its features.

Boost Engagement With Post Ideas

There literally have thousands of templates in their library and updated with new posts on the regular. The images are eye-catching and some include quality content that you can use as is or edit it to bring out your own voice.

They have premade templates for quotes, special events like “national M&M day”, seasonal posts, Facebook ads, polls, and mini contests.

And they have templates to promote your products or business. Here’s an image of one of the templates I recently used to promote my social media management services.

I just edited the content, changed the image and bam – it was ready to schedule!

They also have templates with pre-written content like this content marketing graphic I’ve scheduled to post on social media this week.

You can share these graphics directly from PromoRepublic dashboard.

Editor

There is also an editor section with prebuilt templates or use your own images to create your own social media posts. It’s just like Canva but the difference is the images in the library are all free! You can either download it or use it and schedule it right there.

You can create a post for Facebook, create a Facebook ad, design a Facebook cover as well as a Twitter or LinkedIn post. And they just added images for Instagram that you can post through the PromoRepublic app (Apple & Android).

Calendar

PromoRepublic also includes a calendar on the dashboard so you can see what you’re posting on each of your social media profiles.

And this is my favorite part, it even gives you suggested content. Here is a screenshot of PromoRepublic’s calendar. You’ll notice the suggested content next to the Facebook icon. on Tuesday, it recommends sharing a blog post. For Wednesday, it suggests an educational post and Thursday, a promotional post. Cool right?

Statistics

Last but not least, there is also a statistics tab to see how your posts are doing. You can see how many views it received, number of clicks, visits, likes, comments and shares. Plus there is a repost button if you want to share a particular post again.

Other Features

PromoRepublic also offers weekly webinars to help boost your social media presence and engagement with your fans and followers.

And they have great articles on their blog like this one titled How to Find Your Target Audience on Social Media: 10 Tips to Follow.

That’s It!

So that’s all you’ll get when you sign up to PromoRepublic. If you want to try it for free, click this link here.
