Snappa Review: An Easy-To-Use Graphic Design Tool

Snappa Review: An Easy-To-Use Graphic Design Tool

You know images are everything to a blog post or social media post. It’s the first thing that is going to get someone’s attention – or not.

So, it’s only fitting that you use a tool that will give you all you need to create gorgeous images for your content, right?

Earlier this month I share 12 essential tools to effortlessly manage your online business. In that list I mentioned Canva for creating graphics for blog posts, social media posts, and other creatives.

Well, Nick reached out to me and told me about an easy-to-use graphic design tool I should try called Snappa*.

Of course, I’m always on the lookout for new tools to try so I didn’t hesitate to create an account and give Snappa a try.

Before I get into their features, let me tell you a little bit about Snappa…

Snappa was born in 2015 to help entrepreneurs and marketers who struggle to create quality graphics.

The developers made sure to create a user-friendly tool to make it quick and easy for graphic designers to create awesome images for their blog posts, social media posts and other creatives. This is a plus since most entrepreneurs and marketers really don’t have the time to learn a new tool.

Snappa: The Review

Snappa* has a starter plan you can get for free – but I believe if you want to get the most of a tool, you’re gonna have to pay!

Nick was so awesome to let me try the Pro plan to give it a test drive and share my thoughts with you. Here’s what you get with the Snappa Pro plan for $15 a month:

  • 1 user
  • 600,000+ HD photos & graphics
  • 5,000+ templates
  • Unlimited downloads
  • Unlimited social accounts
  • Saved designs & folders
  • Custom font uploads

A couple other things that I liked about Snappa. One, ALL of their images are free. And two, it integrates with Buffer to make sharing easier.

You start by selecting the graphic size. You can customize the dimensions or choose from their pre-made templates.

Next, you can choose from their list of featured templates or create one from scratch.

Now you’re ready to create a graphic.

Click on the Bkgrnd tab to start. Add an image from their library or upload your own.

You can also upload your own fonts to create snazzy graphics.

The editor is easy to get accustomed to and the learning curve was quick, I like that!

Now see it in action! Check out this quick video I made to show you how easy it use to create a graphic image.

Pretty neat, right?

Snappa offers a free trial*. There’s no credit card required so you can try it out without any obligation. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Thank you so much Cori for covering Snappa! I will definitely test it as soon as possible.

Not easy to find the easiest tool for a beginner (like me). I tried Canva but even if it seems to be the oldest player in the market, it was not that easy for me to get started at all. I also discovered Pixelixe Studio ( https://studio.pixelixe.com ) and was starting using it weekly, it has less templates than Snappa or Canva but I really appreciated I didn’t had to signin to use it. It is directly in my browser favs. I will be glad to get some feedback about it as well if you already tried.

    Thanks again
