So what do you think of the new look?
It’s been about three weeks although it feels more like forever to me, since I’ve been revamping this website to tailor to my target audience, new bloggers. Why has it taken this long?
Well, I wanted to do things right the first time and put all my duckies in a row before I debuted the new look to the blogosphere.
When I first launched this site, the content I was sharing was about blogging in general. By that I mean bloggers at any phase of their journey would find the content helpful. At least that’s what I hoped for, hehe!
But for a while now I’ve had the pleasure of talking with new bloggers who were looking for tips and resources to start a blog and build it into a successful online business.
So when it was time to work on my marketing plan for May it only made sense that I planned it around the group I was closely working with.
Why New Bloggers?
Because I will never forget my first year of blogging and all the trials and tribulations I went through.
I’m not trying to scare the bajezzus out of you but if you’ve ready about me, you’ll know that my journey started off all kinds of wrong – beginning with using the wrong platform.
I also remember what it was like to join the blogosphere . It was kinda like going to a new school and being the new kid on the block. I didn’t know anyone and I didn’t know anything.
It was until about 6 months into blogging that I started connecting with other bloggers. And it wasn’t until I was going to hit my first year that I got the nerve to ask for help. If I didn’t, I probably would have thrown in the towel by now.
That’s why the tagline says “a newbie blogger’s BFF. I want you to have a place to go not only for blogging tips but to share your journey with other new bloggers who might be going through the same hurdles.
A Newbie Blogger’s BFF
This will be the place to find tips like starting a blog, build a community, how to create kick a** content and other blogging tips.
Plus I’ll share resources to help you get your blogging journey started on the right path.
