Your clients depend on a you as their virtual assistant to make sure their brand is seen online. You have to be the one behind the scenes getting sh*t done making sure everything runs smoothly for the sake of your client’s brand or business.
They count on you to share their content and promote their book on social media. And they rely on you to keep up with their website like updating their event calendar and publishing their blog posts.
But sometimes things don’t work out that way. Your clients may be too busy to write content for their blog. So what do you do?
How To Keep Your Client’s Blog Calendar Full
I work with some fabulous ladies who in addition to being an author, have full-time careers. Their busy schedule takes up a lot of their time and that leaves them little time to write content for their blog.
So I’ve had to resort to a little creativity in order to keep the blog posts coming.
Here are some ways to help your clients thrive online when they’re careers keep them too busy to write content for their blog.
Share Blog Post Ideas
Sometimes all it takes is an idea or two to spark a blog post. If your client is having a hard time coming up with topics to write about, share a list of blog posts ideas – maybe that will inspire a new post or two.
Write Content For Your Clients
If you are familiar with your client’s niche you can keep their blog calendar full by helping them write content and publish it on their website.
Send your client a draft and see if they have anything to add. Sometimes that can spark another blog post.
Repurpose Old Blog Posts
Another way to keep your client’s blog calendar full is by repurposing older content.
I like to go back a couple years and update old posts with fresh content and new graphics. And every now and then I’ll change up the format altogether.
Since most people prefer videos, I’ll take an old blog post and turn it into a video with the Lumen5* tool. If you’re interested in this tool, check out my tutorial that shows you how to create videos from a blog post.
So those are the ways to keep your client’s content calendar filled up. Remember, share your ideas, write content for them if you can and repurpose older blog posts.
