We all want to grow our social media pages to draw attention to our business or brand. That means posting regularly on our pages, replying to comments, and creating fun and engaging content. And don’t forget those all-important hashtags!
In this post, the focus is on Instagram and how you can reach more people and get more love on your IG pics and posts.
Adding an Instagram page tab on your Facebook page can give your IG page more exposure. And that can result in more followers.
I’m going to show you can easily add an Instagram page tab on your Facebook page.
Add An Instagram Page Tab To A Facebook Page
I found a tutorial by Lifewire that introduced us to the Woobox app that’s used to create the Instagram tab.
Normally, we could search for the Instagram page app and install it from Facebook. I tried that but the app didn’t come up in the search results.
So the next best thing to do is to go directly to the source! Follow along with this tutorial to add an Instagram page tab to your Facebook page from the Woobox website.
But before you do, make sure you are logged in to your Facebook account that is connected to the page or pages you want to configure the Instagram tab to.
Let’s do this!
Go to WooBox, create a free account by signing in with your Facebook profile. Then follow the prompts to select which pages you want to add an Instagram tab to.
When you do, you will be redirected to the Campaigns tab. From there, click on Facebook Tabs located in the menu on the left.
Next, look for Instagram and click on that tab. And that’s it! Just double check the settings and if you make any changes like change it to Photos With Tag, make sure to click on the green Save Settings button.
Refresh your Facebook page to make sure the Instagram tab was inserted.
For Multiple Facebook Pages
To create an Instagram tab for more than one Facebook page, click on your profile at the top right and select the page.
Click on Facebook Tabs on the left and follow the same steps. Do this for each Facebook page you own or manage.
Bonus Tip: You can move the tab up to make it more visible. From your Facebook page, click on Settings at the top. On the left, click on Templates and Tabs. Scroll down to the tabs that appear on your Facebook page. Then drag and drop the Instagram Tab in the the place you want it to go.
I hope you found this tutorial helpful. If you would rather watch how add an Instagram tab to your Facebook page, check out the video tutorial you can follow along with.
Hi Cori, I wouldn’t say much since I’ve not been focusing much on the platform. However, this article is a useful resource for me. Already pinned it on Pinterest and saved it on Pocket as well.
