Promote your content on Pinterest. If there was ever a sure-fire way to get your audience (and beyond) to your website, that would be one of them. It should be part of your social media marketing strategy.

Publishing content (and consistently) is strategy to build your audience.

But what if you don’t have a lot of content to promote? When your busy building a business or brand, there may not be a lot of time to write content.

Still, you can’t share the same graphic for the same blog post every week and month and expect it to drive traffic to your website.

So how do you promote your content on Pinterest when you don’t have much content to begin with?

Here Is How To Promote Your Content On Pinterest

I don’t have to tell you Pinterest is all about the graphics. When you don’t have a lot of content published, the best way promote what you do have is to create different graphics for each blog post.

Let me explain.

Say you have only published 10 blog posts. If you post on Pinterest daily, you will have recycled those blog posts at least 4 times by the end of the month.

There’s nothing wrong with that. Except when you use the same graphic, there’s a good chance it won’t get clicked on after about the second time promoting it because your audience may have already seen it the first time.

Think about it. When you’re on Pinterest, do you repin or click on the same graphic? Probably not.

Instead of pinning the same graphic, create a new graphic, give it a new title and update the description. There is no set rule on how many graphics you should have.

But, did Ivory Mix break down their strategy in their post How To Create 30 Pins From 3 Blog Posts and shows you how you can create 30 pins for just one blog post!

The bottom line is Pinterest loves it when users pin new content. And when you have different graphics, titles and descriptions, they love it even more. And the best way to make sure your audience is seeing your new graphics is to use a publishing tool like Tailwind* to make sure your pins are published at just the right time.
